The first whole school show for Aspire International School Something like Matilda was a great success. The students worked incredibly hard to make this show the best it could be. This week a range of students from years 1 to 8 were allowed to go and watch an interactive performance created and performed by Calliope Theatre Company. These performances are English-based, and students get to jump onto the stage and be a part of the show. Year 7 and 8s were very engaged with the performance

Year 6 have had an amazing and hopefully useful week experiencing secondary school here at AIS in advance of their move into Year 7 in September. Students started the week by getting to meet new teachers and experience their subjects. They were also given their own timetables and learnt about the structure of the day

This year’s cross country was brilliant to watch. From the sidelines, I witnessed the entire student body and most of the teachers take part. It was so heartening to see students helping and supporting one another; it made the entire event a success. The school was also proud to host Aljezur International School, which was
